More flexible pricing! Monthly subscription allows for Netflix to readjust their prices to costs and flexibility to adjust prices to other associated risks in the market that providing an annual subscription wouldn’t be able to give. It provides an option to the company to adapt to real changes! Sort of a real option focused strategy.
