Breakout room 1-- Groups of 3-- 2 min to draw, 1-2 min to present (5-8min total)

Draw 3 things that describe you (2 min)
Present your drawings/hold them up to the camera (1-2 min each)
5:35 PM
2 min: 1 minute each and tell your conversation partner your life story in as much detail as possible.Β Β

2 min: Come up with three things you and your conversation partner have in common.Β Β

1 Min: Find their #intro in the intros channel and throw em a comment about something from meeting them. If they don’t have an #intro - you can skip this step, but bummer!

making sure the person in zoom doesn't feel alone and underappreciation for their time

Also, if everyone has their cameras on, it makes me less anxious to have my camera on too-- the "come as you are" energy is super helpful.

With AI is fundamentally changing, I do believe that it can be useful as a tool for us, but it shouldn't be a crutch. We still need to pay attention and learn, rather than rely on AI to give us a summary of what happened

KP
kayla pham 5:52 PM
AI is a teacher and a tool, not the one doing the work! It’s challenging as AI is continuing to improve and change which is why I feel like its important to understand it more before it becomes more harmful

NS
Natalya Sanchez 5:53 PM
I think especially for the projects, the whole point is to explore on our own, not something to complete with generic responses. However, for notes or to help streamline/optimize finding sources for research instead of scouring the Internet for hours, it could be valuable because the end product comes from human evaluation and creation.

NS
Nicole Shellito 5:53 PM
I think since AI isn’t going to go away it’s important to use it in a way that benefits personal learning rather than allowing it to control your voice!
